Behold, the mango! ‘The King of Fruits’. Filipinos think of it as the symbol of both the sun and the moon.(Which probably means it’s the perfect fruit for a midnight snack. Or a lunchtime siesta.) A warm yellow-red glow combined with a gentle crescent shape. Gauguin painted its blossoms. And Sanskrit poets believed eating a mango would add sweetness to their voices. But perhaps the most famous mango fan was Buddha, who retreated to its orchards for meditation. It’s said a mango grove was his favourite place in all the world. At Sir Fruit, we can’t help but agree. One of the best things we like to do on an afternoon is sip on some of our deliciously silky, pulped mango juice, and have a kip under a tree. We sometimes find enlightenment, but we also invariably lose our keys. Here’s to the fruit!
- Whole pulped mango, crammed in a bottle
- Silky, double-thick joy
- Not actually a man, though is for on-the-go
Mango pulp, Water, Apple concentrate, Preservatives (Sodium benzoate, Potassium sorbate, Pimaricin)
