Much has been written about Mother Nature. She’s the one in the green twin-set. The one who dances a gentle waltz, ebbing and flowing from season to season. Not so well known, perhaps, is her half-sister, Nozipho Nature. Nozipho’s the passionate one in the low-cut dress, responsible for volcanoes, the Bahamas, and – yes! – strawberries. Could there be a more romantic fruit? In Greek mythology, they are the red-heart tears of Aphrodite as she mourned her beloved. The Beatles sang about their fields being around forever. And need we even mention strawberry blondes? At Sir Fruit, we have a soft spot for strawberries. We usher them through our factory with a cha-cha-cha, giving them a gentle squeeze along the way. I was not a fan of Sir Juice until I discovered this flavour. I even get frustrated when I don't get it in store. I am even glad to discover that the factory is so close to me in Jhb, see you soon for a crate just for me :)
